Bitcoin Leads NFT Market Surge with $19.08 Million in Daily Sales; Ethereum Sees Downturn

In Wednesday's NFT market, Bitcoin emerged as the top-ranking blockchain, witnessing a surge in sales to a total of US$19.08 million, marking a notable 5.79% increase from the previous day.

Leading the charge for Bitcoin was the PUPS collection, which alone amassed an impressive US$2.15 million. This week, PUPS managed to rake in over US$5.3 million, underscoring Bitcoin's dominance in the market.

The recent performance of Bitcoin has contributed to a modest uptick in its all-time sales volume, which now stands at US$3.15 billion.

However, Ethereum experienced a downturn on Wednesday, with sales dropping by 13.20% to US$9.39 million. Despite this setback, Ethereum maintains a significant lead in all-time sales volume, boasting a substantial US$43.52 billion.

Solana also witnessed a decline in daily performance, experiencing a 15.67% decrease in sales, totaling US$8.16 million. Nevertheless, its all-time sales figures stand at a respectable US$5.36 billion.

In contrast, Polygon saw a remarkable surge on Wednesday, with a 128.40% increase in daily sales, reaching US$2.02 million. Additionally, Polygon experienced a notable 46.23% increase in total sales volume.

Meanwhile, Mythos Chain, renowned for its NFTs and items for popular online games like Counter-Strike, found itself displaced from the top five by Avalanche for most of the week.

Avalanche secured the fifth spot on Wednesday, largely due to the performance of the Dokyo collection, which remained within the daily top 10 NFTs rankings with sales just shy of US$1 million.
