In 2018 Melinda Šefčić received her Ph.D. in the field of art and science entitled Re-humanisation and re-aesthetization in the hospital: An example of artistic treatment of one hospital department, under the mentorship of Prof. Svjetlan Junaković and Prof. Vera Turković, Ph.D. She has showcased her work at numerous solo and group exhibitions in Croatia and around the world. She is the author of over 20 art projects, and over 50 murals, and has participated at numerous congresses and conferences. She is a member of the Croatian Association of Fine Arts (HDLU) and the Croatian Society of Freelance Artists (HZSU) and director of the Art Organization MURAL HUB.
