Anita Kontrec is Croatian-German visual artist born in Zagreb. She has had over 30 solo and group exhibitions in Croatia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, United Kingdom, Slovenia and in the USA. She is a conceptual artist who expresses her ideas by means of sculpture, painting, installation and performance, using a whole range of materials such as fire clay, stone, bronze, synthetic resin and pigments.
